Sara Gallagher

(1997, HI) is an artist who works with and against clay to understand boundaries, impression, labor, and being in a body. After earning B.A. degrees in Studio Art and Philosophy from Lewis & Clark College, Sara continued her education through Anderson Ranch Art Center’s advanced mentorship program, and as an assistant at Penland School of Craft. She has been awarded residencies at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, Adamah Art Studio, and Art Farm, among others. She is currently pursuing an MFA at University of Colorado Boulder.
